The Cleaning People is a service of Proshine Cleaning (www.proshine.ie, 1890 818 555)
All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing with by authorized signatory of Proshine.
Keys and Alarm Systems Most Proshine customers leave a key with their cleaner, and we take measures to protect each key. We code each key, and it is stored securely. No identifying information is ever put on any key.
Employees Our employees are very important to us, and we are very serious about keeping them safe, so they do not use ladders or move anything heavier than 35 lbs. These types of activities put our employees in danger of back injury or could even damage your flooring. If you would like us to clean behind appliances like a refrigerator, oven, please move it prior to the cleaning to allow access to the desired area.
Operating Environment Our employees are instructed not to enter an environment that they consider to be unsafe. The customer may reschedule service when the environment has been made safe.
If it is necessary to cancel/skip any scheduled cleaning day, please notify us 2 business days before the scheduled day. Where a booking deposit has been taken for a cleaning service, and the service is cancelled requiring a refund, a €10.00 administration fee will be deducted from the amount refunded.
For once off cleaning service a deposit of €175.00 is taken to secure your booking. This is fully refundable (minus administration charges) with 2 business days notice, 50 % refundable with 1 to 2 days notice, and non refundable with less than 24 hours notice.
In the event that Proshine’s employees can not gain access to the property, or where the operating environment was not deemed to be safe, the customer will be charged (a) in the case of regular service the normal hours contracted to be delivered on that day, or (b) in the case off once off service the booking deposit.
The Cleaning People service, is subject to a 6 visit rolling contract, with no more than 4 weeks between each service. The contract does not automatically end after 6 visits as it is a rolling contract. It is renews itself for an additional 6 visits immediately after the completion of each sixth visit. To cancel the contract you must give two weeks notice. If the contract is cancelled before the completion of all six visits, in any contract period, then the remaining visits in the contract will be charged to your card on the day that you cancelled service.
Time of Payment All payments for service are due by 8.00am on the day of service. If your card can not be processed at this time a late payment fee €10.00 will be applied. We reserve the right to suspend service immediately for non payment of services in a timely manner.
Payment Methods We accept Debit (Laser) and credit cards. Laser cards attract no additional transaction cost. All other credit cards (MasterCard/Visa) including Visa debit attract a 5% surcharge.
Returned Cheques A €25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks.
Refunds Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with Proshine. Please see our 24-hour guarantee if you are dissatisfied with your cleaning. There are no refunds for gift certificate purchases.
Should you wish to hire a present or past Proshine staff member for any home-related service outside of your agreement with Proshine, our referral fee is €1,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Proshine. If the fee is not paid, Proshine reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.
Proshine will have no liability for any loss or damage to property, except to the extent that the loss is (a) caused by proven negligence or default of Proshine’s personnel and (b) is covered by the liability insurance maintained by Proshine. In the event of a loss or damage due to negligence, the liability of Proshine shall be limited to replacement cost of the item, reflecting its age and condition. Proshine shall not be liable for any consequential profit or loss. The office must be notified within 24 hours of the occurance, of any claims.
If you are not completely satisfied with your cleaning, simply contact Proshine’s office within 24 hours, and we will happily re-clean that areas that you are not satisfied with.
